Rebuild your teeth’s normal function and shape.

Tooth fillings are dental procedures used to repair cavities caused by decay. The dentist removes the decayed part of the tooth and fills the cavity with a chosen material to prevent pain and further damage.

Fillings prevent further tooth decay and restore the teeth’s normal function and appearance.

Composite Fillings

Tooth-colored fillings, also known as composites, are a preferred option for small to medium restorations. They are durable and crafted to blend seamlessly with the natural color of your teeth. Composite fillings are directly bonded to the tooth and typically completed in a single visit.

Inlays and Onlays

For more extensive decay requiring a larger restoration, we may suggest porcelain inlays or onlays. These custom-made restorations are crafted in a laboratory and typically require at least two appointments. Porcelain inlays and onlays offer excellent aesthetics, exceptional durability, and can last for many years, seamlessly mimicking the appearance of your natural teeth.

How Long Do Dental Fillings Last?

With proper care, dental fillings can last 10 years or longer. The durability of fillings depends on factors such as their size and placement, as well as your oral hygiene and habits. To maintain the condition of your fillings and other restorations, use fluoride toothpaste when brushing, floss daily, and schedule regular check-ups with your dentist and hygienist every six months.
